Contains letter from Harris to Tavenner as well as Tavenner's reply regarding establishing a closer relationship. Harris, Legal Liaison and Administrative Supervisor for the Defense Division states that he would like to make "your personal acquaintance in a more leisurely fashion" and invites Tavenner for dinner at the Japanese club in Tokyo. Tavenner replies that he is "deeply appreciative" but he must decline because the public could misconstrue actual nature of relationship and that would not be good for the trial.
