Activities at The Greenbrier Hotel

Memorandum for Assistant Director D. Milton Ladd of the FBI regarding the recent arrivals to The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. During World War II, the U. S. State Department and FBI held foreign diplomats and their families while negotiations proceeded with the Axis powers for their exchange. The facility also served as a war hospital. Corrects previous categorization of three individuals who had been classified as Hungarians. Breaks down the numbers of those being held by their nationality.
