C/S - 2nd Central Army Headquarters. 420 - 25 Feb 1947. Statement of Sato: In the first week of October the C/S of the 2nd Central Army Hqs called the Staff Officers of the various armies (about 10) to Osaka. He wanted to know the plans to hide the atrocities and conferred privately with each officer. He approved Sato's plan of concealment and warned him to be very careful.
