Statement of Ohtsuki (24 March - 8 April 47). Guerilla Unit: Under Yakumaru Itezono was in command. Under him, Capt. Nishimoto, then 2nd Lts Suetsugu and Yamamoto. Ohtsuki was next as a Probationary Officers. In early July 1945, 20 Probationary Officers and 5 1st Lts arrived from Tokyo all graduates of Nakao Intelligence School. Among the Probationary Officers were Noda, Satano Narasaki, Yamauye, kako, Nishida, Koyama and Ohtsuki believes, Kitagami and Enoki. At the 9 or 10 August execution. After the execution was finished Tomomori said, "I will give whiskey to all of the executioners." He poured whiskey into a small glass cup and was giving it to the executioners, including Satano and Eguchi and Narazaki. Itezono was standing next to Tomomori. Probationary Officer Satano then stepped forward to the edge of the pit Ohtuski believes about 2'meters from the pit, the Prisoner sat on his haunches, and Satano completely severed his head. After the executions, Tomomori said he would give whiskey to all the executioners, and Eguchi, Satano and Karazaki among those who received whiskey. |

Statement of Narazaki (7 Oct 47). In Narazaki’s group at Guerilla school were: Kunihiko, Hirakawa, Miyamoto, Noda, Ezaki, Yamagani, Satano, Daikubara, Kishida, Fukushima, Matsu.naga and Soejima, there were 3 or 4 other Probationary Officers. Otsuki says these parties cut off heads at the 9 August 1945 execution: 2nd Lt. Ono. . . . . . . . . . . . killed 2. Candidate Officer Sadano " 1. etc. . . . . Everyone commented on Sadano's swordmanship when he cut off one head. |

Statement of Ono (Teruo) (11 Sec 47). On morning 12 August, Itezono said that executions' would take place that day, that all Officers under him would go. Ono was curious, had seen no prior;executions, understood he was to observe. They left about 1000 by truck, thinks there were about 10 .persons, Itezono, Probationary Officer Otsuki, 1st Lt Otosu, 1st Lt. Kuroki, Probationary Officer Satano, 1st Lt. Eguchi, Capt, Wako, 2nd Lt. Ohno and about 10 or 15 others, arrived about 1030. Persons Ono remembers Seeing execute Prisoners on 12 August; Kuroki, Eguchi, Satano, Narazaki, Ohno, Otosu and a Capt. from Legal Section. Otsuki shot arrows at one Prisoner, but did not kill him. Ohno executed 2. Ono believes Satano executed the 4th Prisoner, with one stroke. |
