Statement of Kamada (23 July 1947) About one week after Kamada was assigned to work at the hospital, around 28 May, there was a special lunch for Matake, who visited the hospital at that time. Those attending: Miyamoto, Shinno, Kishi, Kanehisa, Komori, Matake, Ito, Sakai, Kamada.

Kamada believes he came in with Sakai, was present during the entire meal. If human liver were served at this time, he ate it, but doesn’t remember it. Kamada cannot say that he did not know it was human liver; he can only say that he has no recollection of eating it.

Statement of Ryu (              ) After watching lung operation, Ryu returned to his lab; believes Goshima was still there. Ryu noticed a large bottle of Meuller's Solution on the table which Goshima had made up from materials which Sakai, Hirako's assistant, had brought in at noon.
