OHNISHI Statement of Wako (25 Aug - 5 Sept 1947) 20 June execution - Present: Sato, Murata, Shimazaki, POs Ohnishi, Saito, Shornomitsu and Soda. Wako ordered Ohnishi to be an executioner since he was good in Kendo; he just nodded, "Yes.". Wako did first beheading, then washed the sword, killed the 2nd flyer exactly as the first, ordered Ohnishi to be the next executioner. Wako doesn't believe he protested. |

Statement of Ohtsuki (24 Mar - 8 April 1947) Ohtsuki first heard of 20 June execution 2-3 days after it took place. PO Ohnishi of LS told Ohtstlki that a beheading of PCS had taken, place in headquarters a* few days before, said he had beheaded (one or some) of the Prisoners, that Wako of LS had beheaded some of the Prisoners. |
