Statement of Nakamura

24, female, dentist at Kaikosha Hospital from May until 19 June 1945 (hospital was burned)and then worked part time at new hospital until October 1945. Attended KIU from February to December 1946, now works for U.S. Fukuoka Station Hospital. Was a civilian at Kaikosha; immediate superior was Dr. Ito.

Nakamura never missed a day while working at Kaikosha Hospital, ate noon meals in Hospital mess with doctors, army Officers, and civilians attached to army (but not nurses). On one occasion Shiokawa was present at the noon meal, altho she did not usually eat there. Shortly before this meal there had been a nurses party with the hospital staff present.

However, knows of no special occasion, of Matake being present, of liver being served.
