Statement of Ishiyama (6 Aug 47) In report taken from the files of 1st Surgery Clinic on 2 July, the following research was listed; 1. Brain Surgery (1940 to 31 August 1945) Operative techniques of epilepsy and brain abscesses and tumors. Ishiyama, Nogawa, Morita, listed as researchers. 8. Other researches (1940 to 31 December 1945) Movements of small intestines, pneumonia body, cartic (carotoid body), sarcoma, osteomyelitis, histamin, lymphadenitis TB, parotitis staphylococci, relation of spinal injuries between hepatic function, subcutaneous visceral sutpturess, postoperative pulmonary complication, narcosis of the infant. Statement of Toyoda (3 Aug 47) In late Aug or early Sept 1945 Toshimaro Morita was on his was to Tokyo with some documents to be used in the investigation related to the Potsdam Declaration, and Toyoda asked him to tell Inada what Goto had told Toyoda. (that he, Goto, knew nothing more about the KIU affair than that which he had read in the newspapers, but he seemed to want to tell Toyoda something.) Inada reported back that his report was received with a ,"Is that so?" |
