MORITA [Marginal Note: (KIU) ] Statement of Morita (20 Nov 47). 35, has been a surgeon at Kokura City Hospital since 20 April 1945, when sent from the KIU, Attached Medical College, as an Asst Professor of surgery there. From April 1943 to 7 March 1945, he was in the KIU First Surgery, experimented on anesthetics for children, did no surgery. The last party Morita attended at First Surgery was 23 Nov 1944, the First Surgery anniversay. Morita attended no later parties, heard nothing of Prisoners. |
This book documents the legal proceedings of the December 1949 Khabarovsk trial in which twelve members of the Japanese Army's covert biological warfare Unit 731 were prosecuted for their war crimes.
