Statement of Yamanaka In February 1945 there was a radio message from the C/S Air Defense, Tokyo, who was either Kobayashi or Asano. that fliers were to be classified as ‘’captured survivors” and not Prisoners of War until trial had determined whether or not/they were guilty of indiscriminate bombings. (Evidently this is Junchiro Kobayashi who is in Sugamo but is not a defendant in the Tojo trial). |
