Statement of Goto (1 August 1947) Goto remembers attending these meetings ( of WDTCOs at Medical Bureau of WD): Ishiyama, of Surgery; Jinnaka, of Orthopedics; Mi.sao of Interanl Diseases; and Nakashima of Xray and TB of the lung.

Statement of Misao (1-4 August 1947) March 1944 meeting of Temporary Offi­cials - Jinnaka started for the meeting, returned becaue of train trouble.

Early in 1946 Misao heard that Jinnaka and Nakajima were investigated by the CIC and warned to take action in ousting the anti-democratic members of the faculty, but later heard that the reason was Ishiyama’s suspected experiments.

Statement of Hirako (26 Aug - 4 Sept 47) Hirako didn't talk to Ishiyama after the 3rd operation, deciding it was of no use. Hirako told Minami, Fukuda, Ogata and Jinnaka in February or March 1946 as to these intrusions. Only Hirako had the authority to stop Ishiyama from using the room.

There were rumors at the University that Ishiyama was responsible for some operations. Hirako told Fukuda, Ogata, Minami, Jinnaka and a student repsentative that the army was responsible, that Ishiyama had been ordered by the army. (Suggests he told them net to talk about it.)

Statement of Ishiyama (by Daty on 13 July 1946, not executed) In January 1945 a SCAP directive asked for reports of all patients outside of Japanese who were treated in Japanese hospitals. Ishiyama discussed the matter of the PWs with Ryotei Nakajima, director of KIU H0spital and Seichi Jinnaka, assistant direc­tor of the hospital. Ishiyama said he wanted to report the PWs, Nakajima and Jinnaka asked what WA said about them; Ishiyama stated that it had been arranged by WA to have the PWs reported as having been sent to Hiroshima; Jinnaka and Nakajima told Ishiyama then not to turn in a report.

Statement of Uriyu (13-20 June 1947) (About June 11, 1947) Jinnaka told Uriyu to make an investigation concerning American PWs brought to the University during the war.

Statement of Ishisawa (13 June 1947) Several days after the operations, Ishisawa heard that there had been a meeting of both the first Surgery Clinic and the Anatomy Department and the Dean of the Medical College, with Dr. Ohno and Jinnaka, after the latter 2 were asked to cooperate with the Legal Section.

Statement of Sato (420, 26 April) After war, Jinnaka, Ishiyama, and Sato discussed concealment of KIU; Sato said that the army was cover ing by the Hiroshima story.
