FUJISAKI, SHIGETSUGU Statement of Fujisaki (15 July 1946) Fujisaki was a 1st Lt. Medical Officer at WAH from Sept. 1944 to December 1945, cheeked on number of Japanese soldiers sick and hospitals to treat them. About June 1945 1st Lt. Keijiro Yamasaki, who worked in same room, told Fujisaki some PWs had been brought to WAH (Yamasaki was in charge of the allocation of Medical Officers and men to units). Fuiisaki's immediate superior was Mgj. Honjo. WAH had a special doctor who would treat PWs, but Fujisaki doesn't know his name - he was in a different medical detachment which was attached to a unit assigned to the PWs. |
