33, Odzu-machi policeman. On 5 May 1945, was on duty at Minami Oguni Mura, was sent to location of parachutes of flyers with others. At 1000-1030, saw a large crowd standing around the body of a flyer who had parachuted from a B-29, was told that he was shot by a man named Sato (Tokihiro?). Someone had taken his personal belongings, including watch, ring, silver coins, candy, medicine, dog-tags (not wallet), gave them to Tsukamoto, who turned them over to Kinsaki Yamashita, and Taukamoto heard they were forwarded to Miyaji Police Station. Tsukamoto then continued the search.

Shortly after 1000 a group turned over a Prisoner to Tsukamoto, who took his pistol, which he turned over to the Hoshiwa School, took his effects including dog tags, which were later sent to Miyagi (Tsukamoto later heard he was a Cpl from Penn).

Tsukamoto was notified another flyer committed suicide, investigated, finally saw him running, threw down his gun in a ride paddy, then picked it up and shot himself in the middle of the forehead. (That is what Tsukamoto says). Tsukamoto told the group not to shoot, that when the flyer fired 8 rounds it was safe to capture him. Tsukamoto heard him fire 5 times, 4 at the crowd the 5th at himself. Tsukamoto later heard he was a 2nd Lt. Tsukamoto took his effects, sent them to Miyagi.

Tsukamoto recognizes photo of Dale E. Plambeck as that of the flyer, that was captured 5 May. Tsukamoto believes photo of Ohas M. Kearhs as that of the flyer, who committed suicide, but it could have been Robt C. Johnson. The photo of Howard T. Shingledecker, might possibly be of the flyer killed by shotgun fire.
