SADA, MASATO [Marginal Note: (KIU) ] Statement of Sada, 7 June 47 - no report as yet. 49, surgeon, drafted in July 37, discharged 1940 as first Lt., returned to Kill to November 1940, when his own hospital was completed. 6 May 1945 Sada went to Hakata station to see Matake, Komori, also there to send off Matake who was being sent to Officers. Club Hospital. Komori took Sada aside, said "We have a few PWs, so if in any event you are planning to do Medical experiments you are welcome to use the PWs." Sada replied, "We cannot do such thing in our Hospital." They then talked about Dr. Koru Eto, Sada's assistant doctor, who had worked with Komori as an assistant to Dr. Miyagi at the Miyagi Hospital. Later 2 doctors (unknown) who visited Sada from the Ishiyama Surgery Bldg, said that Ishiyama had been receiving letters regarding PW operations that were not good. Sada also heard of operations from students from University. In November 1945, st a party of former and present personnel of the Ishiyama Surgery Bldg., Sada, in front of all, suggested that Ishiyama resign as a vice president of prefectual doctors association and as a University professor. Ho replied, "I know it. I know it, but it's too late now." In April 1946 Sada went to Ishiyama Surgery Bldg, to visit Ishiyama who mid, "Since every doctor in Fukuoka is talking dirty about me, what should I do?" Sada suggested he resign because of the rumors; Ishiyama asked if he had any proof. Sada than said all the students were talking about it, suggested Ishiyama would be hanged. About a week before Ishiyama was arrested, Sada was at a party where Ishiyama was present, which included Hirao, Torisu, Tsutsui. |
