Unable to discover identity of navalOfficer believed to have been a Witness to 15 August execution. TSUCHIYAMA, an NCO in Air Defense Operations Office, stated that KUBOYAMA said that he watched the execution (15 August?), 1st Lt. MAIDA (Maeda) once stated that he executed airmen. KUBOYAMA further listed to the stories of OKADA, NOGAMI, MOTOMURA, YOSHIDA, KAWAGUCHI & SAMESHIMA, who were present at the execution (15 August?) NOGAMI stated that Noboru SUETSUGU said that he executed the Prisoners with a sword at the 10 August execution. KAWAGUCHI stated that he stabbed the Prisoner of War on 15 August because he tried to escape. SAMESHIMA stated that on 15 August SUETSUGU stated that he stabbed the dead body with a dagger. |
