Statements Concerning Shimomura

Statement of Fukushima (18-25 Aug 47). In middle November 1945, War Min Shimomura called all the CGs together for a Demobilization for 2 days, told them they should forward reports to the War Min of any atrocities in their command.

Statement of Nishihara (14-19 July 47). Nishihara attended a meeting of Army Commanders in Tokyo, about 17 or 13 November 1945, called by Min of War Shimomura, in which all received orders to report any trocities committed on American Prisoners
