Statements Concerning Nishihara

Statement of Fukushima (18-25 Aug 47). In middle November 1945, (having replaced Yokoyama as CG, WAH), Sato, Fukushima and an unknown Lt. were sent to Tokyo to a Demobilization meeting for 2 days. War Min Shimomura called all the CGs together, told them they should forward reports to the War Min of any atrocities in their command. This Nishihara did.

Statement of Honjo (25 June 47). Lt. Gen. Nishihara was Chief of Western Demobilization Office, from 1 Dec 45 to 15 Apr 46.
