Narazaki was one of the guerilla probationary officers present at the 10 August, 1330, briefing of the executions to be held the next day. Narazaki did not get to the execution until the fifth prisoner had been beheaded since he had to walk. On the seventh prisoner Narazaki volunteered to execute him and used "kesagiri" on the suggestion of Itezona, cutting him three inches through the shoulder. Narazaki then struck the sword through the prisoner's heart on Itezona's order to end his life as soon as possible.
