49 American fliers were handled at Chugoku plus at least 8 more. 16 were shot down (dead), 20 killed 6 Aug, living 13 (transferred). Lists 6 of Watkins crew plus Nelson, "Hayward", one unknown killed at 1st Inf., mixed (Jap) remains given to American X Corps on 7 Dec 45.
