Last saw Chas. Aopleby 26 July 1945 (brother-in-law) at Guam, a B29 flyer. Lists crew of Hewitt, Boleyn, Appleby, Gothie, Whitely, Sancker, O’Brien, Andrews, Sterns, Thornton, Saudi and Captain Nelson, who went along. Learns later that crew bailed out from air forces intelligence.
