Statement of Shinno (17 Jul 47). At a dinner in May or early June, 1945, in which there was rice, vegatables, fish, pickles, and sake, no meat. Present: Komori, Matake, Kanehisa, Kishi, Ito, Oda, Nakamura and Shinno. Also the following nurses were present: Shiokawa, Nakae, Takechi, Nishimura, OOba, Tatera, Tanaka, Heda, Tone, Takahashi. |

Statement of Toyoda (3 Aug 47). Nishimura told Tashiro after Tashiro's interrogation by Legal Section, that no picture had been taken at the party, although Tashiro had stated that he did. Tani, a 1st surgery lecturer, was a good friend of Nishimura, was interested in photography. About the time of the party, for Nishimura, one of the nurses carte to Tashiro with a picture of most of the first surgery doctors, asked Tashiro why he wasn't at the party. For that reason Tashiro thought it must have been a picture taken by Tani at the party for Nishimura. |
