Statement of Fukushima (18-25 Aug 47). In middle November 1945, (having replaced Yokoyama as CG, WAH), Sato, Fukushima and an unknown Lt. were sent to Tokyo to a Demobilization meeting for 2 days. War Min Shimomura called all the CGs together, told them they should forward reports to the War Min of any atrocities in their command. This Nishihara did. |

This book documents the legal proceedings of the December 1949 Khabarovsk trial in which twelve members of the Japanese Army's covert biological warfare Unit 731 were prosecuted for their war crimes. The trial sought to hold key leaders in Japan's bio-weapons program accountable for atrocities after WWII.
