Lists foreign diplomats and their families held at The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs, W. Va. during World War II. The U. S. State Department and FBI held these foreign nationals while negotiations proceeded with the Axis powers for their exchange. The facility also served as a war hospital. This document lists their date of arrival at the facility, assigned room, name, place detained, nationality, and age of children (up to 21). Handwritten edits are present. On this list, most of the foreign diplomats held were from Germany and Hungary.
