Statement of Makino (18 June 1947) On being shown a picture of Kenji Morimoto, Makino states that he saw him near the table where the liver operation was performed, didn’t notice his doing anything but observe.

Statement of Tashiro (5 June - 9 July 1947) Morimoto was one of Tashiro's superiors at 1st Surgery.

Tashiro believes, that when he helped carry the instruments to the autopsy room for the operation on 10 Hay at about 1330, Morimoto was also in the autopsy room. Rin was not scrubbing, but Morimoto was.

About a week or 10 days after the first operation Morimoto told Tashiro while in the dining room, that there would be an operation on a PW and asked Tashiro to carry the operating instruments.to the autopsy section. However, Tashiro had a patient to treat, finished, found that the opera­ting equipment was gone, went to autopsy section, but one their way walking toward 1st Surgery he saw Morimoto, Senba and Komori.

At the 27 May meeting of the Fukuoka Surgical Council at the 2nd Surgery Clinic, Morimoto spoke on appendicitis.

Akita wrote a petition requesting the release of all KIU personnel in Sugamo. Tashiro signed it, copied the body of the petition and requested the release of only Hirao and Morimoto, which was distributed by Dr. Matsumoto to be signed by alumni of 5th High School at KIU.

Statement of Manabe (OKI) (in the stomach operation??) (2nd series) About 20 minutes after the stomach resection was completed, Ishiyama completed the brain operation. Ishiyama was performing the operation, with Miki serving as his nurse. Manabe believes his assistants were Torisu and Morimoto. By the right of Miki, by the right shoulder of the Prisoner, who, Manabe thinks, was on his back, stood Morimoto. Nogawa recording the pulse, stood to the right of Morimoto by the Prisoner's chest.

3rd series of operations - Miki, Yayama and Manabe prepared the equipment for the operations to be held about 1500 that afternoon. They then pushed the cart with the equipment on it to the Autopsy Section., During this time Ishiyama, Torisu, Hirao, Morimoto, Nogawa and head nurses Tsutsui and Suyama went to the Autopsy Section classroom where the operations were to be held.
