MIYAGAWA, YONEJI Statement of Tomoda (420, 16 May 47) Dr. Yoneji Miyagawa, Director of Contagious Diseases Institute, (Tokyo IU) had charge of this Conference (February 1945 meeting of Scientific Research Conference) for Ministry of Education. In March 1945 Tomoda went to medical section of Western Army and talked to Horiuchi, asked him to send sample of AA to Dr. Miyagawa, director of Scientific Research at Tokyo, which was done, but Tomoda heard it didn't reach Tokyo, so again requested transportation for AA in June. |
This book documents the legal proceedings of the December 1949 Khabarovsk trial in which twelve members of the Japanese Army's covert biological warfare Unit 731 were prosecuted for their war crimes.
