Statement of Kubo (8 Oct 47). 2 or 3 days before Kubo attended an operation on a Prisoner, he heard there was to be an operation on an American flyer, from someone in First Surgery. In the operating room, Miki and Tsutsui were present, is not sure as to Manabe. Kubo stood on a stool in back of Ishiyama, and held the lamp over his shoulder, he being on the right side. Torisu was on the left side, Miki was on Ishiyama's right, passing the instruments. |

Statement of Nogawa (21-25 Sept 47). The first series Nogawa attended, was about the middle of May when there was but one Prisoner, a lung operation. Miki was the only nurse that Nogawa recalls. The lung didn’t appear diseased, but Nogawa didn’t see it closely. |
