Statement of Miki (15 July 1947) Where Miki stated that Suyama, Manabe, and herself wanted to leave the room, they actually had no chance to talk about it. They looked at each other as,if to say, "let's get out of here." (operat­ing room)

Statement of Yayama (30 July 1947) (3rd series of operations ?) In late May or early June, Tsutsui told Yayama to report to the Autospy Room and bring the cart that had all the operating instruments on it. Miki, Manabe and Yayama pulled the cart from the first floor of the 1st Surgery Clinic to the Autopsy Room. Tsutsui was already at the Autopsy Room when they arrived along with Suyama, Ishiyama, Hirao, Torisu. Miki, Manabe and Yayama took the instruments from the cart and prepared for operating.

Persons present during these 3 operations this date; Torisu, Komori, Suyama, Manabe, Tsutsui, Hirao, Miki, Ishiyama, Senba, Yayama.

After 2nd Pw had been operated on, Yayama, Manabe and Miki washed the instruments in the wash basin in the Autopsy Room and prepared for the3rd operation. There were not enough instruments, so the instruments used on the 1st two operations were washed, then wiped with Lysol, and placed on the instrument table for the 3rd operation.

After the operations, Miki, Manabe and Yayama returned to the 1st Surgical Clinic. Remaining in the Autopsy Room at that time: Ishiyama, Komori, Hirao, Senba, Mori, Morimoto, Suyama. Tsutsui left the Autopsy Room shortly after Yayama.

Statement of Nogawa (2-25 June 1947) 1st series - lung operation - Nurse Manabe had helped carry instruments to the room but left before this lung operation started.

2nd series - (lung and liver operation) At the right table on the right hand side of the Prisoner near his stomach was Ishiyama; Komori was on the Prisoners left and near his head. Near the instrument table stood either Manabe or Miki.

3rd series - 2-3 perhaps Manabe, Miki and Nogawa darried some instruments over to the Autopsy Section classroom where the operations were to be performed.
