Statement Tsurumaru July 1 & 2, 1947 - 1-5 May 1945, 1250, went to Officers Club Hospital dining room to visit after finishing lunch at Headquarters dining room, where there were seated Komori, Kishi, Kanehisa and Ito, perhaps also Matake.

Thinks Kishi was there, despite evidence* that he didn't arrive at hospital until 25 May 1945. [Marginal Note: Human liver feast ]

Statement of Maekawa (23 May - 3 June 1947) There were 3 medical officers assigned to Kaikosha Hospital, 4 around May 1945. One was 2nd Lt. Kishi, from about May to end of war.

Statement of Tsurumaru (20-25 May 1947) 2nd Lt. Kishi worked at Kaikosha Hospital - in surgical section. While he outranked Komori, Komori was superior to him in age and experience, and Kishi would frequently seek his advice.

Statement of Ito (11 July 1947) When Ito walked into the dining room of the Officers Club Hospital in late May or early June 1945, already seated at the table were Kishi, Kanehisa, Miyamoto, Komori, Momota, Shinno and Sasaki.

Kishi gave Kanehisa and Ito a piece of meat, picking it up with chop­sticks, then took one himself.
