Statement of Torisu 420, 26 Apr. 47 In 1st part of May D ordered W to assist in Prisoner operation of bullet wound in lung. Ishiyama principal, resected right lung, ruptured wound, patient died. 2nd Prisoner - D made resection of upper lobe of right lung. Prisoner died. Later, 2nd incident, Ishiyama operated on 3rd Prisoner - resection of liver. Prisoner died (4th Prisoner there, but W left.) D present at dinner given that night by Sato. In Oct. D requested W to call Sato as to whether any trouble”. Later in Oct. Hirao told D of newspaper (MIshinihon). D cautioned secrecy. |
