Statement of Inokuchi (Inoguchi) (420, 9 June 1947) Inokuchi worked on alginic acid as blood substitute under Tomoda, director of 2nd Surgical Clinic, with Kenjl Inouye and Tokuhei Miyakoshi, from Jan. 1945 to Apr. 1945. From Jan. to Mar. 1945, cowarkers on AA: Linn, Chin, Inouye, Miyakoshi, Takuhei, Tsuchiya and Ichiyoshi, Chikeo. About July 10, 1945 Inokuchi and Inouye with 2 NCO's went to Kurume for 5 days, and then Inouye and Inokuchi were ordered to go into blood substitute section. Before Inokuchi and Inouye got orders at 2nd Army Hospital, saw Tomoda, who told them they would probably help make AA, this on order of 2nd Army Hospital. Inouye went once to Western Army Headquarters. |

Statement of Tsuchiya (420, 9 June 1947) Besides Tomoda, Linn, Inouye, Inokuchi, Miyakoshi took part in blood substitute project. Inouye worked with Tsuchiya about 4 weeks. In Feb. 45 Linn, Inouye and Miyakoshi were working on blood substitute. Tomoda, Inokuchi and Inouye told Tsuchiya AA a success in Feb. 45 - also that substitute of Professor Takahashi of Keijo, Korea, successful both used at KIU. Inokuchi and Inouye got 200 grams of the fiberous powder form, gave to Tomoda. Tomoda, Ipcuye and Inokuchi used ”a" patient at hospital for injection |
